Within easy reach are the major lakes, mountains and tourist attractions including The World of Beatrix Potter, Windermere Lake Cruises and Lakeland Motor Museum. Above the accommodation is the Hoad monument, a 100-foot replica of the Eddystone Lighthouse. From the top of Hoad Hill you can see across Morecambe Bay towards Blackpool and the Pennines. Ulverston caters for all tastes with an eclectic mix of quirky shops and high street names, and a wide range of eateries.
